Cracker – Richard Fulton
For the sound, the price and the convenience this takes some beating. Nice comms from the company too. Get one
Sounds excellent – AHJ
V happy – arrived promptly, simple to set up and sounds excellent
Excellent sound quality– FB
In short, this device provides excellent sound quality and value for money. I’ve been a user of a Squeezebox Touch and Duet for a number of years and this device slots easily into my setup with Squeezer on my android phone to connect to and play music on the different players. Support upon the initial setup of the DAC32 was also tops so thanks to Audiostore for that. I recommend the DAC32 device heartily! Five stars
Not available – MP
My only regret is that you are out of stock. It appears to be superior to the Logitech Duet and works seamlessly with the remote. I hope to migrate to this once it is available!
Knocked Out by the Mite– FW
Having purchased a DAC32, I bought the Mite on Martin’s recommendation to extend my options. My personal music library is made up of painstakingly digitised vinyl, cassettes and CDs originally delivered through a SqueezeBox Duet-based system. I explored several alternative strategies as my SqueezeBox kit gradually became unusable/ defunct but nothing compared to the SqueezeBox LMS solution for my extensive collection e.g. Sonos was a non-starter due to the overall number of tracks involved. The DAC32/ Mite combination delivered from the start and also offers seamless integration with all the main commercial services at a single point of access. I really have tried to come up with some negative aspects but so far, I’m drawing a complete blank on that front
Feedback on DAC32– JC
You were out of these when I first inquired, but I was promised an email when they became available, and the promise was kept.
I’m glad to be able to get the DAC32. It replaces a Logitech Squeezebox Classic V3 suffering from their common ailment of one failing channel. Odds are that an exact replacement would suffer the same fate soon enough, as they are only available used, so I was happy to see the DAC32 solution.
Setup of the DAC32 was not entirely intuitive, but I managed it by the second try, and it functioned perfectly, joining a synchronized host of Squeezebox and AirPlay devices controlled by Logitech Media Server running on an older iMac dedicated solely to serving audio throughout my home network.
