Sonicorbiter software offers a unique system that combines various applications seamlessly. It supports popular services like Roon, Squeezebox (LMS), DLNA, Minim, HQServer (with or without Roon integration), Sonos, and more. Users have the flexibility to choose server apps based on their preferences, allowing integration of personal music libraries and streaming services like Qobuz, Tidal, Deezer, and Spotify. Additionally, internet radio and services like BBC Sounds and Radio Paradise are available depending on the selected app.
Users can then choose playback apps either on the same device (connecting to a USB DAC) or on network players such as microRendu or third-party streamers. This enables playing stored music or streaming services while on the move, away from home, or even abroad, thanks to Roon ARC (Audio Remote Control).
The Sonicorbiter software also includes on-board apps for various tasks, such as ripping CDs, editing tags, mounting USB or NAS drives, backup, and monitoring performance. Playback control is versatile, allowing users to control playback from a browser, Apple or Android tablets/phones using a variety of apps. This comprehensive system provides a user-friendly experience for managing, streaming, and enjoying music across different devices and locations.
The Playback Apps are similar to those offered by the Rendu products (which also use Sonicorbiter software)
Current software level for Nova SW is v2.8 (v2.9 available for Roon/HQ Player users – please contact us)
