1. Introduction

1.1 Overview: Material Skin Software enhances the user interface of Logitech (Lyrion) Media Server and Squeezelite, providing a modern and intuitive experience for managing and playing your music.

It is unusual as it works like an App, but does not need installing. It is controlled directly by the Nova server

2. Installation

2.1 Installing Material Skin on Logitech Media Server:

  • Enable Material Skin in 3rd party plugins. Save.
  • Restart Logitech Media Server to apply changes.

2.2 Configuring Squeezelite for Material Skin:

  • Ensure Squeezelite is installed on your device.
  • Access the Squeezelite settings and choose Material Skin as the preferred interface.
  • Save settings and restart Squeezelite for the changes to take effect.

3. Getting Started

3.1 Accessing the Material Skin Interface:

  • Open your web browser and enter the Logitech Media Server’s IP address followed by the port number (default is 9000).
  • Type /material after the :9000 (example 192.168.1.64:9000/material)
  • If you like using material you can set it to run permanently from the setting menu

3.2 Initial Configuration:

  • Follow on-screen prompts to configure initial settings.
  • Connect Material Skin to your Logitech Media Server.

3.3 Navigating the Interface:
