The sonicTransporter i9 optical, stores your music, runs streaming services such as Qobuz and Tidal and has an optical Ethernet port for for playback via optically networked players such as our opticalRendu or Signature Rendu SE optical. An additional RJ45 network port connects to your router or endpoints such as ultraRendu. You can attach a standard Ethernet player/streamer or network DAC with our Sonore opticalModule

Output via opticalRendu reviewed on the Hans Beekhuyzen Channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0A0l6keKTg

You need to purchase licences for Roon and HQPlayer (If used)

Note currently (Sept, 2024) v2.9 software does not support LMS (Lyrion) Server  and intends that output will be to a network endpoint (for example Rendu products)

Please ask if you want to check an application is supported (Lyrion is supported on our Nova v2.8 software)

How do I use this? – You will normally need to add an opticalRendu, power supply (for rendu) and OM1 optical fibre to your order (and a USB DAC)

Note that you can also use a regular copper network with this device
